Welcome to Ski Fit North Alberta!
Ski Fit North Alberta was founded in 2009 with the goal of introducing Alberta’s First Nations and Métis youth to the sport of cross-country skiing and the transformative power of sport and play.
In partnership with Olympic gold medalist Beckie Scott and driven by a committed team, our mission is to engage and empower Alberta’s Indigenous children with sport, activity and inspiration.
With the help of our sponsors our program is delivered for free. The primary goal of Ski Fit North Alberta is transforming lives through sport. Sport is universally recognized as an effective engagement tool for children and youth facing adversity, through which important life lessons and skills can be developed in communities across Alberta.
